Cecilia Kastner grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado, spending a year abroad on the northeast coast of Argentina before completing CSU’s apparel design program. They finished their degree as a design intern in LES Manhattan under the label Collina Strada. Cecilia is currently located on the Colorado Front Range developing their creative practice. Exposure to life throughout and outside of the U.S. greatly impacts Cecilia’s work, which is based in solarpunk and metahope idealogies through the activation of alternative materials and ways of being.
