Desolate advocates for human and environmental rights through research-based, life-affirming, circular design of outdoor survival gear. It was birthed for and through community, and aims to acknowledge our deep interdependence on each other and our Earth.

The collection supports the dire need of millions of people to cultivate a sense of place, despite the upheaval of their living situation. Through a 1-for-1 business model, wealth is redistributed in the form of protective, life-affirming apparel from the mountaineering elite to the displaced, impoverished majority.

Desolate is curated using upcycled camping gear, deadstock fabric and other found materials to simulate what post-apocalyptic life would require. The collection dances the line between astronaut-core synthetics and delicate, primordial hand mending. It exists as a contradiction in a system built upon extractive dichotomies as a step towards repairing homeostasis globally.
